Chapter 1 - Chapter 1
Marsh Lake was beautiful in the bright rays of the sun. The grass thick and lush. The large oak tree boughs extending over the clear water of the gorgeous lake.. Crowded picnic tables full of laughing childrenUntil later. Until the sun went down.
At least that's what they told me.
I was afraid to believe them. I was afraid not to.But something about their calm composure and intense gazes, and the fact they virtually lived at the park. They said they saw what happened every night. I wanted to know. They wouldn't tell me.
But they would show me.
I didn't want to know anymore but I'm no chicken.
I agreed to stay and watch.
