He stepped out on to the balcony and looked at the city; it was his city, a special place for him to rest and release. He remembered the old church and the stained glass windows that he looked through every Sunday from the day he was christened.



He turned to the door and left the room. The bed was made, he hadn't slept all night, and he couldn't. He didn't need to anymore. He hadn't touched the mini bar for he didn't need to eat either; he didn't need to do any thing any more. He had been in the room; you couldn't tell from the looks of it that there had been a presence in there at all.
