Two parts of one whole

if love is a emotion
and emotion is weak
then am i weak
for loving you

no i am not
i am only strong
only pure, only right
love is my strength not my weakness

i love you, pure white tiger
angel of love, angel of light
you the pure white tiger
could never love me back

the way your golden eyes glitter
when you laugh and play around
the way your raven black hair
swings gently in its wrap

i turn to my side
to hide the smile that crosses my face
whenever (hyper) max and (wacko) tyson get on your nerves
and you yell at them 'stop that noise!'

but one night when its time to sleep
i hear you crying out on the balcony
i walk out and sit by your side
and wrap a arm around your waist

you snuggle into my side and rest your head on my shoulder
i smile when you look up
but i drop my head in shame of it
you lift my chin and say two words

'i know' those words are easy to say
but the meaning behind it, isn't so
you brush my bangs out of my eyes
as i lean down and gently kiss you

you end the kiss and go inside
leaving the patio doors open
you leave me there, sat in the cold
the touch of your lips, the trail gone cold

the pheonix fire slowly fading
the winter dawn slowly breaking
the song i hear you playing from inside
a sad, lonely song to make anyone cry

i go inside and lie on my bed
you lie next to me, my shoulder a resting place for your head
we close our eyes and hold each other close
light and dark, white and black, two parts of one whole
