Chapter 1 - Never Be Mine.
I'm getting over her:
She who I never had,
And never will have,
Broke my heart
Without realising.
I would have given you the world:
We could have
Ran through thickets and
The world's gardens together,
Laughing all the way.
We'd laugh, cry, die,
Smile, live, fly together:
Sharing every moment
In love's tender embrace,
Me and you.
The wistful dreams fade,
And I am left,
Staring at a picture of you.
How is it that I cry when those images
Were nothing more than dreams?
