Layne: I'm afraid you've reached your limits...Gallows.

Gallows: What...did you say? *Glares then eyes go wide and his body shivers all over*

What the...? My body...I can't move...!

Layne: Paralyzation. Comes with my mental attack I just performed on you. You fought well. But it's over. You feel it don't you? ...Your bones and energy are dying. *Grips sword and raises it above his head* It's over. I told you to be good eariler...see what you've done to yourself?

Gallows: ...! *Watches sword and tries to move body*

Move. Move...! Move dammit! Why the hell...is it gonna end like this? It wasn't supposed to...It can't...I have to win....I have to win!

Gallows: *Eyes close and head lowers*

Pathetic.



Ellen: *Explains everything to others* And that's it.

James: So, Gallows is back there fighting that maniac by himself!?

Duke: That's suiside.

Ellen: I know but---

*The whole forest is blasted with an energy unlike any other. It's at the maximum power of all limits and so dark and evil you can taste it in your mouth. The smell of burning flesh rises up, choking the group*

Ellen: *Hands covers mouth* That-That smell and that aura- I-I-It can't be!!!

James: Oh my God, what is making that!?!?!

Ellen: Only one thing could...*Looks back shivering* Gallows' true form.

Sara: Schturdark...*whispers looking back toward the forest*
 
Jet:...*keep silent as he starts to banaids up sara's hands*
 
Sara:...he came out maybe...over his fear of death? or was it because he hit his limit who can say...for sure. *shakes her head a bit as she whispers to herself*

Ellen: *To Sara* No...it's not quite like that. *Stares with eyes wide with fear* ...Gallows can only change into that form when his heart is filled with nothing but rage or dispair...but...for some reason...this transformation is different...somehow. *Eyes narrow*

Duke: ...and believe you me. Gallows isn't the type who fears death. *Looks away* He's actually the type who'd welcome it with open arms.

Ellen: *Flinches* ...true.

Duke: However...I got to agree. Something's not right. This transformation is different.

Ellen: ... *Runs off*

Duke: E-Ellen!! It's dangerous back there- *Him and the others run after her*


Gallows(???): *Head is lowered and smoke rises from the left half of his body* ...

Layne: *Brings sword down and Gallows' smoking hand reaches up and grabs it* ...What the..!? ...This smell...and that aura... *Looks afraid for the first time* But...

???: ...Humph...fool knows that if he dies he causes me trouble.

Layne: I-Impossible...what...WHO are you!?

???: *Grins* Who am I? HAH!

Layne: *Shivers*

???: I have many names...but most like to call me...Shadark!!!

*The smoke clears to reveal the left half of Gallows' body transformed into his true form. The other half of his body remains human. It's truly a horrific sight. For both of his eyes...where the white is supposed to be, there's black. And the eyes are yellow with black slits that seem to pierce into your soul. They're the eyes of a Guardian*

Jet:...what do you want to do? you burned your hands pretty badly. *stares toward her*
 
Sara: do you even have to ask? *shakes her head a bit and follows after the others*
 
Jet:...I should never ask a question like that ever again. *sighs to himself and slowly follows after her*
 
Sara:...Shadark has awaken. And I beileve...he has taken over Gallows fully. Meaning...Gallows has last all control of himself. He maybe able to tell friend from foe now as well. If that's really the case here. We need to stop ellen from getting there, understood? *looks toward Jet*
 
Jet:...why does trouble always find us everywhere we go? *sighs to himself*
 
Sara: just lucky, I guess...*shrugs to herself*

Shadark: *Reaches up with mutated and and cuts off Layne's right arm*

Layne: *Eyes go wide and he falls back* GAAAGHHH!!!

Shadark: *Let's out a maddening laugh then licks blood off his claws* You truly are pathetic Gallows!

Layne: *Stares*

Shadark: You get beaten by this waste of flesh!? Pathetic bastard...allow me to show you the real way to fight. *Layne's sword in his hand vanishes*

Layne: *Eyes narrow and he draws another sword with left hand*


Ellen: *Running* Gallows...!

Jet:...they are just ahead of us now. if your going to stop her from seeing what you beileve is happening, you should do something now. *Glares toward Sara*
 
Sara:...gees, alright. *takes out a piece of paper*...I didn't want to have to do this but I have too. *throws the piece of paper toward ellen* sleep!
 
 

Shadark: *Tail smashes a rock nearby then he grins evily, reaches up with his mutated arm and brings it down in a slashing fashion sending a huge blast of black energy at Layne*

Layne: Black energy!? *Jumps aside, barely dodging it*

Shadark: *Laughs then sends countless ammounts of energy blasting toward Layne, who barely dodges any of them*

Layne: *Panting then leaps backwards only to have Shadark's human hand to grab his shoulder* Who's getting slow now!? *A whirlwind of black energy explodes from Shadark's body, attacking Layne with it*

*Smokes clears and the two are standing face to face with each other fifteen feet away from one another*

Layne: *Blood splatters below him and he pants and sweats heavily* That energy...black...only one with a dark heart can conquer that up... *Falls to one knee*

Shadark: Heh...that was to easy......huh...? [/i]*He twitches and looks over his shoulder*


Ellen: *Let's out a cry when the spell hits her but continues to run, slower and slower every minute. She falls to her knees just as the forest ends, revealing the scene of Shadark to her and the others*

Shadark: *Has his back turned* ...

James: *Eyes go huge when he sees Gallows' current form* ...shoot...

Duke: What the hell.......

Ellen: *Eyes go wide and she shivers rapidly* ...

Sara:*shakes her head a bit as the two of them stop behind the others*...I was hoping the spell would knock you out so...you wouldn't have to see this ellen...but I guess, I'm still hurting from that fire burn..*looks down at her hands*
 
Jet:...and how do we deal with the problem you were right about? *looks toward sara holding his hand over his ARMs*
 
Sara:...I haven't got that far in my plan so far. *laughs a bit to herself*
 
Jet:...I should have known. *sighs to himself*

Shadark: *Laughs coldly* So...looks who's here... *Turns around to reveal his mutation* ...look who's here.

Ellen: *Eyes shimmer* Why...what went wrong with the transformation...? Why...did only half of him....?

Shadark: *Flicks out forked-tongue*

James: *Grasps the hilt of his sword* So...that's half of what he really is?

Duke: *Nods*

Shadark: .....*Looks at them then spots Ellen* ....another one close to is heart huh?[/font] *Claws clench and he smiles evily* ...guess I'll have to take care of you like I did to your sister.

Ellen: ...!

Sara: Shadark has taken him over. It would be a better idea if you left now Ellen. For your own safely. *takes out her ARMs*
 
Jet:...and you plan to try to change him back? *glares toward Sara taking his ARMs into his hands*
 
Sara: that...or trying to hear him and call him back out *throws some piece of paper around herself*...it will be messy no matter how I do this...*closes her eyes and tries to find him*

Ellen: ... *stares hopelessly*

Shadark: *Laughs at Sara and others* So...you plan to challenage a guardian huh? No matter... *Claws crack* ...now's the time that all of you-

Gallows' voice: -disappear!!!

*The eye on the human half of Shadark/Gallows' body turns back to normal, white eye with light green coloring. The human hand reaches up and begins to claw at Shadark's face, the sea serpent half.*

Shadark: GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGHHHHH!!!! *Throws head back screaming*

James: What the hell is happening!? *Stares in horror as does everyone else*

"Gallows is fighting him."

James: S-Seth!?

Seth: *Leaning up against a tree watching* Shadark had control...but it's slipping. Right now, Gallows is desprately fighting for that body's possession...for your sake.

Shadark: DAMN!!! DAMN!!!! *Screeches as the human hand claws at the sea serpent half* LET GO!!!

Gallows' voice: DON'T INTERFERE!!! LEAVE NOW!!!

Shadark: *Hisses* YOU'RE THE ONE INTERFERING!!! *Flips around, screaming and hissing, smashing rocks with his tail while grabbing his head in pain* YOU WOULD'VE LOST IF I HADN'T TAKEN OVER, YOU FOOL!!! DAMN!!! DAMN!!! *Screams once more then suddenly, the serpent part of the body goes under smoke, then the figure falls to his knees* ...

Sara:...hmm. *shakes her head a bit as she throws a piece of paper toward Gallows* Heal. One who can hear guardians voices, is the only one who can help the guardian or save the other ones they take over. The ones who can hear spirits voices, called shaman. *shakes her head a bit*
 
Jet:...*looks toward the floor without saying a word*

Gallows: ... *Smoke clears and he has his full body form back* ... *Looks up and sees the others and stares, eyes dropping* ...wanna say...I don't...get used now...Enduro...? *Eyes close then he topples over knocked out*

Ellen: ... *The sleep spell effect finally kicks in and she falls over passed out as well*

James: ...Well...that was...wow....*Clears throat*

Sara: *sweat drop*...that weird, she could withstand the spell for that long. *looks toward Ellen*
 
Jet: *slowly looks up and toward gallows*...you're is different, then what I was talking about. But my view doesn't change at all.
 
Sara: *shakes her head a bit*...I hope she forgets what she just saw. *sits ellen up*

James: ...Hey.

Duke: What?

James: Where did that Layne character go?

Bakura: Well he... O_O ...I don't know.

Duke: ...Bastard probably ran off.

Jessie: Here... *Wipes sweat off Ellen's forehead with napkin* ...I don't think she'll be forgetting this anytime soon. Or any of us for that matter.

James: Yeah. *Goes over by Gallows and puts an arm around his shoulder then lifts him up* Let's get out of here.

Sara:...he was bleeding a lot. He will not get very far. So...it will take him sometime to heal himself up. So...they're no need to worry right now. *places a hand on ellen forehead*...and she will forget...*closes her eyes*
 
Jet:...*looks around to make sure he really is gone, but doesn't see him anywhere* we should leave before he can heal himself and head back here. *puts his ARMs away*
 
Sara:...yes your right. *her hand let off a soft grow quickly toward ellen then the grow quickly disappears* let's leave then. *slowly puts ellen arm over her shoulder*

James: ...Is there any place safe around here?

Sara: I wouldn't know, I never stay in a place for very long. That one of the rules as being a drifter... *she whispered shaking her head a bit*
 
Jet: *slowly nodded listening to her*...I have no idea, if a town or anything is around here. First time...being in this area. It's hard to know.

Seth: ...There is a town nearby. It'd be safe there. To The north.

Sara:...a town to the north, huh? alright, let's head there. Gallows and Ellen need somewhere to rest anyways. *nods to herself*
 
Jet: *wonders where that person when too. Still has a bad feeling in his stomach*...how far north is this town?

Gallows: *Stops as well and looks at Jet sadly* I wasn't created by humans...but...I was created from fate for one sole purpose...to die. I don't understand exactly what you've been through or felt...but you don't know that about me as well. We're different. However...*Face darkens* ...don't EVER say I don't know what it's like to be used. It was the purpose for which I was born. *Glares* And lastly...I wouldn't go so far as to call me human. I'm not. I may attain human flesh at the moment...but that's only an illusion. *Looks away* My true form...just hope to the guardians you never see it. And as for the danger I caused...I plan to end it. Layne has hurt me for the last time! *Shoots off sprinting*

Ellen: *Gasping and grabbing at Layne's hand*

Layne: I only have one thing to say to you...Don't get conceited with the snake...you little dog!

Ellen: *Eyes widen* ...!

Jet: Idiot...you're more human then I'll ever be. *shakes his head a bit*...you just don't get it. But I don't care. you better...make up for what is happening now. or you will see my power as well...*hurries after him*
 
Sara: *begins to breath in and out heavy*...ah...n-no not now...*quietly whispers to herself*

Gallows: Don't worry. Just promise me one thing. *Looks at Jet* Get the girls...and leave Layne to me.

Ellen: S...Sa...ra...

Layne: *Shows no intention of letting go*

Jet:...trying to be a big time hero? not that I care do whatever you like. But don't come crying to me if something goes wrong got it? *glares toward gallows*
 
Sara: *slowly brings herself to her knees and she clings to her ARMS*...b-bastard...let her go. *feels her right hand with the seal on it shake a bit*

Gallows: No...nothing hero-like our anything like that. *Glares ahead* Let's just say I "owe" Layne something. *Rubs a twisted scar on his arm* And besides...*Grins* I'm stronger than I seem and I never cry for help in a fight.

Ellen: *Choking*

Layne: *Stares at Sara*...

Jet:...whatever, but if something happens do you don't cry. because I don't plan to help you fight a crazy person. I don't need anymore of that. *shakes his head a bit*
 
Sara: I thought I told you to let go of her...*places a piece of paper onto her ARMs and puts a red bullet inside her ARMs* I call your power one of fire, come before me to give one who has the right to call of your powers, and become one with my weapon! *glares toward Layne* Boiling Cremate! *yells as she fires her ARMs*

Layne: *Drops Ellen and vanishes in a flash*


Gallows: *Smirks* Fighting crazy people...? Heh...I can understand that. *Summons up spear beside him as the forest's edge appears*


Layne: *Looks from Ellen to Sara* ...

"LAYNE!!!"

Layne: *Looks over and smirks* Well, well, well...look who it is.

Gallows: *Pointing spear at Layne* What have you done!?

Sara: *falls to her knees* why is it acting up now? *ask her self*
 
Jet: *races over to her*...Sara! can you hear me...?
 
Sara: *slowly nods breathing heavy*
 
Jet: damnit...it's acting up again. *places a hand on her back and begins to use his power*

Gallows: *Looks over* E-Ellen!!! *Runs over instantly and kneels down by her then sits her up slightly* Ellen...?

Ellen: Gallows...? *Eyes open* Oh thank god you're safe...

Gallows: I'm safe...? ...Dammit Ellen worry about yourself right now, you were almost killed.

Ellen: *Smiles* Don't...worry about it...

Gallows: *Sits her up against a nearby tree then glares at Layne with a deathful stare*

Layne: *Smirks* So...the snake finally released its fangs to bite did he? About time... *Draws out a sword*

Sara: *shakes her head a bit*...I'm fine now jet you can stop. *slowly puts out a piece of paper*
 
Jet:...you shouldn't you still haven't recovered. *slowly removes his hand*
 
Sara: It doesn't matter how much time I take...I can never truly recover. *throws two pieces of paper toward Gallows* Shield! Protect!
 
Jet:...and you call me selfish...*whispers to himself*

Gallows: Thanks. *Keeps glare on Layne* ...*Spear tightens and he growls* Get Ellen out of here.

Layne: *Grins*

Jet:...yeah yeah, I hear you. *sighs to him self and helps ellen to her feet*
 
Sara:...you're going to fight him on your own? is that really a good idea? *slowly makes her way to her feet*
 
Jet:...it doesn't matter if it is or isn't. let's just get to hell out of here now! *yells to Sara*

Ellen: Gallows!!! Let go of me!! *Hisses at Jet* Gallows are you crazy!? You can't fight him on your own! You'll get killed!!!

Gallows: *Back turned* ...maybe I will. But I won't stand for you to. Now get her out of here!

Ellen: Gallows!!!

Jet: fine...fine but don't blame me if something happens to you. let's go. *nods toward Sara*
 
Sara:...fine. but you should be careful. my special attack from my arms even missed him. *eyes gallows*

Gallows: Don't worry. Even if I do die, I'm taking him to hell with me.

Ellen: Gallows!!

Jet: *nods to him self and brings Ellen with him*...let's go.
 
Sara: *nods and follows after the two of them*

Ellen: *Glares at Jet* Are you crazy!? We can't just leave him!!

Gallows: ...*Dashs forward at almost lightning speed readying spear*

Layne: *Doesn't move*

*There's a sound of bones cracking and blood splattering*

Ellen: What the...!? *Stares*

Gallows: *Standing in front of Layne, one of the spear heads burried deep in Layne's chest*

Layne: .... *Grabs spear and pushes on it then jumps back as if it didn't hurt him*

Gallows: ...

Layne: All right...Gallows...watch this.

*Layne's blood on the ground turns into gentle flames that burn a redish color and the fire forms a ring around the two*

Jet:...we have to leave now. Don't you even see what's he really doing? he's being time. he knows, he can't beat him. So he planning to take him down with him. So let's leave so he doesn't have anything but himself to worry about. *takes hold of ellen arm and pulling her with him*
 
Sara:...I don't like leaving things as this. So I don't plan too. *Takes out two piece of paper* Hyper! *throws one toward Gallows* Pressure! *throws the other one toward Layne*

Gallows: !?!?!

*The flames around them suddenly jump up and the papers are vanquished*

Layne: Sorry. Can't have any interfering.

Ellen: *To Jet* But-! I can't leave knowing he could die!

Gallows: Just go! I'll be fine. *Looks back and smiles at Ellen* I'll be back. I promise.

Ellen: ...*Slowly nods* You better.

Jet:...we have to go now. Sara come on! *hurry away bring ellen with him*
 
Sara: alright...*nods toward gallows before following jet*
 
Jet: *how...could he just make her magic paper disappaer like that? she put a magic seal on them. So...magic shouldn't able to touch them at all. Or...does he have a higher level magic then even a shaman has? Jet wondered*

Layne: Now then...

*The flames suddenly rise higher and become more intense*

Gallows: *Raises spear* ...

*They both dash forward and the battle goes into a blur. The sword and spear are constantly clashing, sending tremendous waves of spirit energy outward in a blast of wind that can even reach Ellen, Jet and Sara*

Ellen: *Looks backwards, eyes wide as a blast sends her hair blowing* ...!?

Jet: *nods toward Sara*
 
Sara: *nods back* Reflect! Protect! *yells holding up six piece of paper each*
 
Jet:...*this better work or...cut himself off*

Gallows: *Standing in with his spear locked with Layne's sword.*

Damn. He's fast. I've hardly even been able to keep up with him but...

Gallows: *Jumps back*

Layne: What's wrong? *There's a blur then the next moment he's standing in front of Gallows with his blade pointing an inch from Gallows' forehead* You've gotten quite slow Gallows. *Jabs sword foreward*

Gallows: *Leans to side which made the sword only cut the side of his forehead* ...!? *Layne's blade is by his left ear* You- *Smashes spear upward deflecting Layne's sword and they lock weapons again* Getting slow...? *Grins* Your sword's the one standing in place right now.

Layne: *With his free hand, he quickly reaches over his shoulder and pulls out another sword and stabs it into Gallows' right foot* Is it?

Gallows: GAAH!!!

Layne: *Puts a hand on Gallows' head and a screech echoes only in his mind along with a tremendous blast of pain*


Ellen: *Stares back* ...

"What the hell is going on!?"

*Everyone looks over to see James and the others*

Me: Wh-What's going on and where was all that energy coming from!?

Sara:...crap *feels her hands shake a bit*...that fire...got my hands. *looks down at her burned hands*
 
Jet:...you alright? *looks worried toward her*
 
Sara:...could be better. but I'll live. *shakes her head a bit*...that fire was much stronger then I thought it was...*whispers to herself*

Layne: *Looks at Sara cooly* Don't be alarmed. I only came here to see her. *Points at Ellen* Though, you seem to have an interesting seal on you as well.

Gallows: Dammit! I didn't think that after me he would go for her. I should've known!

Sara:...*shakes her head a bit throws the piece of paper toward him*...it called keep your hands to yourself! Magnarize! *yelled as arrow of pure-energy appears before Layne*
 
Jet:...if he after ones with seals...he will surely target sara as well. but...her seal should be more powerful...then others seals *whispers to himself and starts to shake his head a bit*...

Ellen: *Eyes widen*

Layne: *Eyes narrow and suddenly the arrow snaps in half and vanishes* Just let me do what I must... *He raises his hand and suddenly a screech echoes only in Sara's mind along with a tremendous blast of pain*

Ellen: LAYNE STOP IT!!! *Runs foreward*


Gallows: No. His main target would be Ellen, cause he knows she's close to me. His only joy in life is putting me through hell. It always has been. *Looks at Jet* I'm positive Layne won't break her seal, but I can't promise Sara won't get hurt.

Sara: *lets out a scream as she weakly pulls out another piece of paper*...d-dark luceid! *screams before she fall to the ground and faints*
 
Jet:...I don't care who his so called target is. If...the seal on her was to break...*shakes his head a bit*...I'm not going to happen, I don't give two shoots about anything other this that. Her power is dangerous! she was used as weapon...even against me! So...if this person even touches her...I will use my own power to kill him! *yelled toward gallows then shakes his head a bit then quickly takes off running*

Layne: *Dodges the attack at lightning speed then runs over, grabs Ellen by the throat and slams her against a tree* ...

Ellen: *Gasping*

Gallows: *Glares at Jet* Listen to me! I understand what you went through, okay!? I've been through the same thing...twice! Except it was my seal that was broken and I was the attacker. Alot like how Sara was to you. You see this leg!? This is part of the thing I change into! I still have this leg in my human form because I commited the greatest sin years ago! It's a mark and punishment that I spilled blood! *Glares ahead* That happened once but I'm not gonna let that happen again!

Jet: *stop in his tracks*...you understand? how could you understand? you understand how it feels to be used? to be made by people? to be born inside a tube? how the hell could someone as you understand any of this? You don't understand at all! *glares toward gallows*...you are a human, as for me I'm android! I had nothing! No memories nor family! I was alone! aside from her! I was linked before, before I was really born! you understand nothing! *shakes his head a bit*...I don't have time to talk to someone as the likes of you...because of you. She was placed in danger. How the hell do you plan to make up for this?
 
Sara: *lays on the ground not moving*

*Visions enter and exit your mind in the rate of a heartbeat and you can see they're the memories of another person. You feel whatever they feel.*

...It's a dark and stormy night....

...your body begins to twist and change, shaping and mutating with tremendous pain...

...the transformation is done and your eyes lock with a girl you love, Ellen, who stares at you with empty horror...

...you're running through the darkness of a forest, your heart filled with hopelessness...

...moments later you grab your head in agony as a guardian speaks maddening words to you...

...Ellen's stumbling toward you, covered in mud and her expression broken...

...you try to run but something grabs your leg, making you smash into the riverside muck...

...your large, mutated, and clawed hand is smashed down upon Duke's back, the cause you of tripping, ripping it open...

...time seems to rewind and you look down at your trembling 12 year old hands which are covered in blood that's not your own on a similar stormy night...

...great emotions roll over you...you wan to run...you want to hate...you want to love...you want to be accepted...and you feel great pain...

..."It's all my fault."...

Gallows: *Tears away from Layne and the visions in Sara's head stop* Just...stop...just... *Falls to his knees* Just..please stop...

Sara:...w-what was that...? *feels tears rolling down her cheek*
 
Jet:...sara? *asks her and slowly helps her back up to her feet*
 
Sara:...I...I saw something. little hands covered in blood. It just looked so...*slowly shakes her head a bit*...it wasn't from my memory but...from another person?

Gallows: *Shivering* ...

Layne: You know...I've been thinking...perhaps the reason you think so lostly is beacuse of that girl...Ellen.

Layne: Three years ago...she saw your real form. And yet, she's still with you. Amazing isn't it? Like an angel? A Holy spirit? Or perhaps...a demon?

Gallows: *Looks up slowly* Wh-What...?

Layne: Isn't she a little too good to you? No human is like that. She's a freak...like you. After all...any sensable human would've ran in terror at the sight of your real form.

Gallows: *Shaking and stands up* How can you say that about her? You don't know anything...you weren't there...! You didn't see it so how-!? You're not cursed like I am-! You don't-! *Looks angry and swings arm* YOU DON'T KNOW HOW SCARED SHE WAS!!! HOW CAN YOU SAY THOSE THING!?

Her hands..and voice...were shaking....with fear. She was pale. She was terrified.

Jet:...blood? *slowly shakes his head a bit*
 
w-why am I covered in blood?! w-what have I done? She couldn't have seen that right? Because that isn't her...*cut him self off*
 
Sara:...*begins to breathe heavy*
 
Jet:...crap...what a time for that to act up now. *she was getting worked up and her sickness was kicking in*

Jet: *quickly shakes his head and lightly rubs her back using his power*...I shouldn't do this...but I don't have a chose right now...*whispers to him self*

Gallows: She didn't run away because-

Layne: Oh shut up.

Gallows: She didn't-

Gallows: She held onto my hand because-

Layne: *Slaps Gallows across the face which sends a small blast of a vision to Sara and it also gets sent into Jet, who's making contact with the girl*

...the bloodied 12 year old hands are feeling around the muddy forest ground, and a small crying voice is heard from your moving lips...

...the hands, which seem like your hands from the point of view, are next to a small puddle. Slowly you feel yourself crawl foreward and look into the water. Staring back is a frightened young boy, with short brown hair and wide, tear-filled light green eyes. He's covered in blood from head to toe and your eyes, or his eyes, quickly look back to see your right leg is mutated. The leg of your newly discovered true form. And it would never change back. He looks back into the water and two tears splash into the water's depths.

"...I'm a murderer..."

...Just at that moment, a white lock of hair falls from tucked behind his ear...

Jet: *quickly shakes his head a bit*...that's not from her lost memories. *knows this far too well*

Sara: *slowly starts to breath normal again*...I-I saw something again. Images...I...I could hear a young boy's voice. But...I don't understand what was happening...why was I seeing this? *ask herself*
 
Jet: *eyes her*...someone making her see images. But what kind of person has that kind of power?

Gallows: *Eyes are wide*

She held on...because...she knew if she let go my hand...I would've...probably never come back. I might've never trusted anyone again.

Gallows: *looks at hand*

It's not like she took away all of my pain. There's no way she could fill that hole. But that doesn't matter. I wouldn't expect her to "fix" me. What's important is...she's not afraid to be by me. How she smiles...and how she's happy when we're together. Why...? Why doesn't she regret wasting time with me? Or think it's stupid!? Or realize I have nothing to offer...?

Gallows: *Raises hands to face*

Gallows: *Lifts hands slightly to reveal tears streaming down his face*

I love you. The way you are. I love you so much.

Sara:...I-I'm...alright now...you can stop. *sweats a bit looking up toward him*
 
Jet:...! *blushes a bit and quickly backs away a bit*
 
Sara:...but thank you again, it's weird...the pain always goes away when you rub my back.
 
Jet:...y-yeah I guess it is...weird. *shakes his head a bit. would she fear me...if she knew of my power as lee halt said?*

When did it start? When did I start thinking that my name had a special ring to it when you called? When did I start telling myself...that I'd do anything to make you happy? When did I start...loving you so much...? Ellen...

Layne: ...Gallows. Are you...crying? Why are you...? *Smirks* Or are you just mortified? Could it be that...you "love" her? You and Ellen... *Chuckles* That would be perfect. For a freak...to be with a freak.

Gallows: ... *Glares*

Layne: What... *Snarls* Why are you looking at me like that...?

Gallows: ...you bastard.

Layne: What's wrong with you!? DO YOU ACTUALLY LOVE THAT WOMAN!?!

Gallows: I-

Layne: You're even more foolish than I thought!! You despicable creature!! You take life then you think you have the right to fall in love!?

Gallows: ... *Stares*

Layne: You think you could be allowed such a thing!? ...*Smirks* Think Gallows. Who's fault is this...? For putting you in this awkward position?

Gallows: ...Mine.

"How absurd..." Lee halt said as I started to use my power on him. "And what would she think if she saw this?" Lee halt asked me. "She you mean?" I asked. "That's right...the only thing you care about. What would she think? if she saw this kind of power?" Lee halt asked me. "S-Shut up!" I yelled shaking my head. "Would she fear you? Run from you?" Lee halt asked.
 
Jet: *slowly shook his head. He couldn't let her know about his power. What if...she did fear him when he told her? He couldn't take it. It truly would break him. He...needed her more then she would ever know*...
 
Sara:...? is something the matter, you look upset...*looks jet's face over*
 
Jet:...no, it's nothing.

Layne: Perhaps...only a little. *Eyes narrow* But I'm sure most of the fault lays with that woman.

Gallows: I-! NO! I don't...I don't love her. *Lowers head* There's no way I could love her...or anyone in my life. I'd never fall in love.

No more. I don't want him to say bad things about her because of me.

Layne: That's right. I see I was jumping to conclusions. Obviously you don't love her. You judged wisely...for once. Besides... *grins* ...it's only a matter of time before you die. If you drag that girl...or anyone further into your life...you'd only hurt them more. The best thing...would be for you not to exist.

Gallows: *On his knees fists clenched* ...

Layne: *Turns away* I have to go for now...but... *Smiles* Be good...during the short time left...you have alive. *He disappears in a blur, leaving Gallows alone.*


Ellen: *Spots Jet and Sara* Hey! *She looks really scared and worried*

Sara: *blinks seeing El

*Laughs* Did it cut off here?

Gallows: I KNOW!! *Grabs head, then sighs and continues*

Ellen: You guys haven't seen Gallows have you? *Looks like she's about to cry* I'm so worried and I don't know where he is and...and... *Tears begin to seep out of her eyes and she collapses gasping deeply*

Sara:...Ellen? *catches her as she falls*...can you hear me?
 
Jet:...*shakes his head a bit* looks like we are in over are head as we are now.
 
Sara:...? *looks up toward jet lost*

Ellen: Y-Yeah. I can still hear you but... *Looks at Sara with a face that could break the coldest man's heart* I have to find him...Layne...he get's into people's minds...even when Gallows was a child. *Looks down* Me and Karen had no idea about it...

Jet:...into people's minds? *places a hand under his chin*
 
Sara:...but you look too tired. shouldn't you try to rest first? *ask looking worried toward her*
 
Jet:...! *shakes his head a bit. could what she had seen...been from this person had done to gallows? But...why would she see something from another person? It didn't add up*

Ellen: I...we...have to... *Passes out clinging to Sara*

Sara:...Ellen? *shakes her head bit*
 
Jet: *shakes his head a bit*...we should leave now. Or we will get pulled into they're problem.
 
Sara:...but, we can't just leave her as she is now. *looks ellen over*
 
Jet:...your sounding too much like virginia now. it better to be safe then sorry as they say. jet leave her, so we can get the hell out of here before something more happens. *shakes his head a bit*

Ellen: *Gasping slightly from dehydration and there are countless new nicks and bruises on her arms and legs, many of which can be identified as a branch hitting her or her tripping* ...

Gallows: *Stops, eyes wide as a pang of energy surges through him* ...Ellen...? Is she...? *Dashes off*

Sara:...your so selfish you know that. *Glares toward Jet as she starts to cast heal on ellen*
 
Jet:...fine, do whatever the hell you want see if I care. *quickly starts off away from the two girls*
 
Sara:...your still a child, really. *sighs to herself as she begins to heal ellen*...your a mess...it's like something attacked you.

Ellen: *Eyes open slowly* You saw them didn't you?

Gallows: *Running* Ellen...! Layne if you touched her...!!! *Hisses*

Sara:...saw them? what do you mean? *looks confused down toward ellen*
 
Jet:....*cusses him self as he makes his way into the forest*

Ellen: *Looks upward* The memories...his memories...I saw them too....

Gallows: *Running but his right pants leggings gets torn on a sharp branch*

Sara:...? that was another person's memories? but how could I see....? *starts to ask and hears something moving around them*
 
Jet: *stop in his tracks*....

Ellen: *Doesn't appear aware of the sound* They were...Gallows' memories...

Gallows: *Growls and his right legging completely falls off*

Sara:...gallows' memories? but how can another person see another memories? that doesn't make sense. *keep looking around the area hearing something moving around close by. Take out her ARMs*
 
Jet: *sighs to him self*...I shouldn't have left her by her self. I should have forced her to leave that girl there...but I didn't. maybe she's right. Maybe I am selfish...*whispers to himself*

Ellen: Layne...is the reincarnation of the Guardian of mentality...that's how....

Gallows: *Eyes go wide as he sees someone ahead* Jet!!

Sara:...that person's a guardian as well? *shakes her head a bit*...I don't get a lot of this. a long time ago, the guardians were sealed within stone. So...why are they now sealed within humans? *quickly sits up ellen and puts her behind her*...I can hear you moving around stop hiding and come on out! *holds her ARMs out in front of her*
 
Jet:...? *slowly turns around hearing a voice*

Ellen: *eyes go wide* He's here.

Gallows: Jet! *Runs up panting then blinks* Y-You're alone?

Sara:...he? *asks looking back at ellen*
 
Jet:...do you see anyone with me? *glares toward gallows*...what the hell do you want anyways. I don't feel up to talk.

Ellen: ...Layne... *Eyes go wide*

Gallows: Don't be a smartmouth. *Looks pissed then blinks* Where...where are the others...? *He's standing in a shadowy area*

*A smell creeps into Jet's nostrils...the smell of burning flesh. And a powerful...very evil aura chokes him. And the source of it is close. VERY CLOSE*

Sara:...that person...*holds her arm tightly in one hand and holds a piece of paper in her other*...what does he want here?
 
Jet:...! *quickly looks around the area*...I don't have time to deal with you now. I have bigger problems.

Ellen: I'm not sure. *Shakily gets up*

Gallows: I could say the same to you. *Takes a step forward* That bastard... *Hisses* Ellen and Sara are in trouble if you wanna know. I can smell them from here. And he's there too... *Suddenly rushes past Jet and then suddenly, the aura begins to fade away along with the stench. It's then Jet catchs a glimpse of Gallows' leg...and it's the leg of his true form, the source of the aura and smell*

Sara:...stay behind me alright? I have a weapon, should we should be ok. *stares back toward Layne*
 
Jet:...she wasn't just saying things I see. you are a guardian as she said. not that I care. I can...sense that person, whatever you called him. I guess...you should say, I got her sixth sense as well. But if that person is...after sara. Then...*shakes his head a bit

Layne: *Appears before the two girls smirking ever so slightly*

Ellen: *Eyes narrow* That son of a dog...


Gallows: *Looks over shoulder at Jet* You comin' or what!?

Sara: *points her arms toward him*...don't move! stay where you are!
 
Jet: *slowly nods toward gallows and hurry onward with him toward where the three stood*

Ellen: He went out for a walk. So- *Spots Jet* WHOA! O_O; Where'd he come from!?

Me: His name's Jet. ^^'

Jet: ....*doesn't say a word and closes his eyes*
 
Sara: he just kinda pops up sometimes...*shurgs to her self*
 
Jet: you make it sounds like...I am a bug or something. *glares a bit opening his eyes as he looks toward sara*
 

Ellen: O///O He'd be a damned cute bug then. *Whispering to Jessie*

Me: XD; I know.

James: *Twitches then sighs*

*Something suddenly smacks James on the back of the head*

Jet: *gives the two girls a weird look*...women...*shakes his head a bit*
 
Sara:...I heard that.

*Everyone jumps to see Seth standing behind James*

Me: O_O; H-Hey... *thinks* God I hate when he pops out of nowhere like that.

Jet: ...I don't get woman...*whispers under his breath*
 
Sara:...*looks to seth for a second then goes back to what she was doing*
 
Jet:...*glares a bit looking toward the new person*

Seth: *Eyes slowly go from James straight into Jet's without moving his head* ... *There's a serious killer aura to him and his eyes can seem to pierce through anything*

Me: So uh, what did you come here for?

Seth: *Eyes remain on Jet for a second, then go back to Jessie* I came here to let you kids know something. *Eyes go from left to right* Where's Gallows?

Ellen: Everyone's arguing pissed him off and he went out for a walk.

Seth: ...he was the one I wanted the most to hear this but...I just recently heard that...he's here.

*Everyone's eyes go huge*

Jet: *keep watching this seth closely, doesn't really trust him and slowly looks over to Sara for a second*
 
Sara: *appears to be ignoring all that is going on around her*...do do...
 
Jet: *slowly shakes his head a bit wonders how she can ask this claim*...

Duke: You mean...?

Seth: *Looks at him* Layne.

Ellen: *Eyes close*

Bakura: The same guy that-

Seth: Yes. Who released Gallows' "Other" form three years ago.

James: *He and Jessie weren't there when that happened* And you mean to tell me he's around here?

Seth: From what I heard...if you see Gallows... *Looks at Jet and Sara* ...any of you. Let him know. Only a fool would suppose that he'd want to see him. *Turns around and then in a blur he's gone*

Jet:...someone who can release seals...? *quickly looks toward sara*
 
Sara:...? *looks confused back toward him*
 
Jet: Damnit...to hell. *whispers to him self*

Ellen: Yeah... *Holds hand over heart* That night...Layne is a seal-breaker. He broke the seal holding back Gallows' real form and...*Hair covers eyes* ...I saw it.

James: And what I find sick is... *Looks away* ...Layne was actually assigned to protect Gallows when he was young. He did the exact opposite.

Bakura: We gotta find him. Quick. Before Layne does.

Jet:...I can't let this guy near her then...or he could break the newly placed seal I made...*whispers to him self as he eyes sara again*(spoils ^^ )
 
Sara:...jet? what is it?
 
Jet: *slowly shakes his head*...nothing.

Duke: ><; Believe you me. You don't wanna mess with Gallows when he's in his real form. *Pulls off shirt then turns his back to the others to reveal five long scars stretching down his back and each line ending in a large cluster on his side* He gave this to me that night.

Ellen: Yeah. I remember that. When he tried to run away and you grabbed him by his leg. *Blinks* Why...did you come after him anyway?

Duke: O_O Hm?

Ellen: Why did you come after him like I did? I thought you hated him.

Duke: O__O;; *Turns away* I-I DO! It's just... *Sighs* E-Everything went wrong! It was in the moment okay!

Ellen: *Stares, then smiles*

Jet:...*looks to each person and wonders if it really safe to stay here any longer* her...seal should be strong...after all I used that gem but still...*whispers under his breath*
 
Sara: *looks down at her hand*...
 
Jet:...*shakes his head a bit unsure if he should tell her they should leave or not*

James: ...Hey. *To Jet and Sara* You guys can leave or whatever. But we really gotta find Gallows. It'll be hell if we don't. For everyone.

*There's silence for a moment, then everyone's gone in a blur*

Jet: *nods to him self and slowly stands up*...yeah...let's leave before things start to get bad.
 
Sara:...you think this person may try my seal don't you?
 
Jet:...*doesn't answer her and slowly turns away from her*
 
Sara: Jet! stop ignoring my question...*quickly stands up*

Gallows: *Sitting in a small clearing of a forest rubbing his head* God...Duke's really gotta give up.

*Bushes rustle*

Gallows: *Eyes slowly go in that direction venomously while turning yellow* ...

Voice: It's been a while since we've spoken face-to-face...Gallows.

Gallows: *Eyes go wide then he slowly looks over*

Jet: do you really wish to stay and take a chance here? *ask her as he starts to walk away*
 
Sara: *slowly shakes her head no and follows after him*
 
Jet: didn't think so...it's safer this way. And it's they're problem whatever happening here not are. *adds in*

Gallows: ...Layne...what...are you...

Layne: *Leaning up against a tree. He has long white-blond hair pulled back and light blue eyes and a cold look to him* So, how are you?

Gallows: *Gets up and Glares* ...

Layne: *Smirks* So...how's defying fate for you lately? Not to good huh? You can't...can you? I told you it was impossible. I told you didn't I? *Stares* It's how you were made. It was like that since the beginning...set into stone by the guardians, or should I say Shadark. In your blood...right?

( you sure have been giving a lot of spoils lately. ^^;; not that I mind. )
 
Jet:...*has a bad feeling something will happen soon and start to walk a bit faster*
 
Sara:...*looks behind her and wonders if jet can tell something will happen soon*
 
( I shouldn't say this but...after sara's power is unsealed jet is the one who makes the new seal on her with a special gem from the guardian lords, the part I'm writing right now really. And then he becomes very protector her. He also get a sixth as she had for a long time as well. )

15 year old Gallows: *Grabs Layne by collar* SHUT UP!!! YOU THINK I'VE EVER CARED ABOUT FATE!?!? I'LL SMASH MINE YOU BASTARD!!!

Layne: *Smirks* Want to bet on it? If you truly can defy your fate...I'll respect you. If not... *Grins* Then I'll know you're really nothing but dirt.

(Flashback end)

Gallows: ... *Fist clench* How can you say that!? There's still time!

*A dagger flies through the air and cuts him across the cheek*

The final trail, that he gets a gem called the gem of sealing. then he uses that gem along with his powers to call her back or will I should say. ^^;; and I don't mind reading the spoils at all )
 
Jet:...*wonders if they're could be other seals around there and hopes she isn't targeted*

(I can understand you being confused at this part. O_O Even the readers are. It's a scene that's unclear, but clears up eventually. The "monster" Layne's refering to is Gallows' real form. And the three people are Gallows' parents and this one girl he knew and loved. Her name was Karen.)

Layne: I'm amazed your parents didn't kill you when you were still helpless.

Gallows: *Eyes lose light* ...

Layne: You should've been the one to die. But then again, I think people would be much happier if you had never been born.

Gallows: NO I DIDN'T!!! STOP IT!!!

Layne: *Reachs out slowly, then touches Gallows on the forhead*

Gallows: *Screams as a tearing pain shoots through his skull. At the exact same time, Sara feels the same pain* (I'll explain why you in a minute)

Sara: *stops in her tracks*...ugh...*shakes her head a bit*...i-is this the po--ah...*slowly drops to her knees*
 
Jet: *quickly turns toward her*...sara!
 
 

James: Huh...what's weird though is that Duke is a REALLY good fighter.

Me: -__-; Just not against Gallows.

Gallows: *Looks away* He's just a fight-strucken idiot if you ask me.

Duke: MMMMMFFF!!!! *Tries to yell from Bakura's hand*

he just loves to fight...from what I have seen. or just get angry too easy...hmm maybe both. *nods to her self watching*

Me: No, no, no... *Shakes head* Duke has a really good temper. But once again just not around Gallows. XD;

Gallows: *Looks away*

Ellen: *Looks after him, then goes over to Duke, slaps him, then smacks Jessie and James on the back of the heads* Will you all shut up!!! XD;

*Everyone blinks*

...well now it is quiet. *sits down on the ground and puts away her pieces of paper that we're floating around her*

Ellen: ...About time too. ><;

Duke: O_O; Where'd that damn snake go?

Sara: *shakes her head a bit as she starts to make more magic seals on other pieces of paper*
 
Jet: *silent sits down beside her without saying a word as he shakes his head a bit*
