Lol I thought it was so annoying to do Akito's hair especially without a tablet... Hmm if you have a tablet it would be easier I guess.

===Random Tips===

Use as many layers as you want. Use fade for the strands of hair. Know where the light is coming from. Make copies of layers so you have back ups, you dont want to do something again. This is so you can experiment safely. Also don't be afraid to search for tutorials! ^-^ good luck!

===I wrote random stuff===

Once you have done the skin and face, and the ear! I always forget to colour in the ear... ^^" Make a new layer, leave it multiply. On this layer you can colour the base colour of the hair. For akito the base colour was dark blue close to black with opacity 100%. After you have shaped the blob of base colour change the layer back to normal.

A very light blue is used but the opacity should be lowered a lot. With this you can add in random highlights using a medium ish brush of 25ish depending on the size of his head.

Then using a small brush second from the smallest put in some hair. (still with a very light blue control the opacity to what suits ur picture) use the smaller brush for finer hair. Continue adding hair by hair. Don't go all over the base colour just where the light is touching etc.. but if you do you can go over it with a soft edged brush with a low opacity to make it darker but keep the details of hair.

i did hiragana, and half way done katakana. but i'm having trouble learning all of the kanji >_< there are too many... what about u?

yeah I've done hiragana too, lol yay it was fun i have flashcards...

Hmm just doing a bit of katakana now... but learning how to make sentences and about verbs etc

yeah the kanji is like woah... looks difficult and overwhelming.

Hmm for one maybe include a snowman(it could just be a snowman or someone making a snowman). Another could just have a person smiling in one of the seasons, chibi or not ,your choice. The last one can be any character any of your choice. hmm I hope that doesn't inconvenience you both! ^^"
