DeviantART used to be decent website until 2013, when trolls became administration and started banning people from silly reasons.

I witnessed that in mid 2013, when couple of admins refused to ban cyber-bullies for offenses they would ban for yet in 2012. On 22th April 2014, I lost my account on dA, because trolls bullied me out and 4 different dA admins refused to accept my ban appeals without giving valid reasons, instead, they threatened me with suing me in lawsuit for defending freedom of speech and common sense. It seems dA is ruled by mob of trolls, who cover their thugs under protection racket, and force decent people to abandon the website for sure.

All I can say is that deviantART has become more deviant than artistic nowadays.

not really as long as you follow rules and rate art correctly if you post art it needs to be a smaller size but not too small i suggest reading rules and such about posting stuff also photos are not allowed unless it is of art sculptures  other forms of art scanner stuff digital is allowed but when posting upload  the file  click what medium  it is and any other info listed and description and upload for stories chapters etc that can be a separate upload feature
