I thought of the concept for this picture some time ago when I was working on a coloring book project for a friend. I really love the father/daughter relationship between Sesshoumaru and Rin. I know there are quite a few who like the idea of a romantic coupling between them, but I always thought that there was so much more potential on a familial level. Couples may break up, but blood is blood... even if it's adopted blood.
That being said, I then began to think of the interactions I've had with my own parents and the memory of being chased and caught by "the scary monster" (usually my dad) and subsequently being tickled and the like. While the result of my picture sides more on the scary side (he is a youkai afterall:), it's still a silly, tender moment between an unlikely adopted dad and his equally unlikely little girl.
I know there are only maybe... 5 Sesshoumaru fans out there, so eveyone else, I hope you enjoy it :D

OH MY GOSH!!! It's SESSY-SAMA!!! WOW YOU DRE WHIM SOOOO WELL!!!! I love the detail in this pic you can certainly draw his outfit nicely. And the coloring is beautifully done. The way you did the characters is so cool. The structure of each one is done very nicely. And I love the face expressions of them. Once she's over the age of 14, he wouldn't be considered a pedophile. It would simply be statutory rape, although back then, I doubt it would be even that. Regardless, I like them as family.
