What I use for making pics:

Poser 5 -- for posing and rendering
Anim8or, UVMapper, 3d Studio 4 1995 -- these three I use when I have to model new stuff; most of the time I just edit what I buy off daz3d or renderosity
Paint Shop Pro 7 -- textures, postwork, layouts, etc
