To clear things up, I have nothing against OC's or fanfic (I have a whole epic-type one for KH). As long as you can explain why your OC was not in each and every part of whatever it was that you're writing about, then I find it perfectly okay.

I'm sorry female Riku cosplayers. (If there are any; I haven't ever seen one before...)

I would go watch a 10-hour Harry Potter movie if it was line-by-line to the book. (What happened to the Quidditch World Cup!?!?!?)
