Socks

the colour of sweat

awaiting to be washed. Socks!

Servants of defeat.

Toothbrush

The lowly toothbrush,

given the dirtiest task,

lives to make me smile.

Frying Pan

Forced to slave over

a hot stove every day,

the frying pan weeps.
