Chapter 1 - These I Have Loved
Chapter 1 - These I Have Loved
These I Have Loved
I love the way the wings of a dove beat against the air while it sores to a tree; How a horses hooves sound beating on a gravel road while he gallops home; Or the wonderful fragrance the earth gets after a down poor; The sight when you look up into the sky and see the clouds open up and let the raindrops fall; The way a cat looks after he's caught a mouse scampering about; Or the way Riley looks at you with huge brown eyes trying to figure out what's going on; The way you feel when you accomp-lish something great; The song the wolves sing when they are looking for their next meal; How you walk out into the chill of winter and see the snow sparkling like thousands of tiny diamonds; But most of all how Jesus so graciously gave His life for me;
These are all the things I love.
