Goodbye



Standing there, eternal flame,

Your heart fueled by a hunger for fame,

Blame yourself as you fall and

See all the suffering you made me feel

Because I won't call you back to me.

Bleeding heart and wicked fire,

Stomach churning, a strange desire

To watch you struggle for more poison words,

Melt the chains and break yourself free with them,

You're not coming back to me again

As if you're my friend still.

You betrayed me, I've grown wiser,
I don't regret your pain, nor did you regret mine,

No wonder you fell from grace alone,

Pick yourself up because you're stranded and

You're branded an outcast, quit lying now,

Crying worked once but you hurt me again

So no it's over and you're alone now, so tell me,

Was it worth it when you hurt me?
Say goodbye and save your pathetic tears,

My ears are deaf to your damn cries,

So stop whining and grow up please,

My sympathy died so stop pleading,

Your selfish, bleeding heart means nothing.

You changed and now it's over my friend,
No one said the end was sweet,
I guess I couldn't see the truth before,

You hid behind a mask at first,
I can't really say I knew you the,
Before the lies were all I saw,
