Chapter 1 - Never to Say
Down the hall
The procession goes
Outside, the flowers wilt
Deep sadness in the eyes of all
He left
Without a word
He left
Into the back of the hurse
The coffin slid
The back door closes
The engine ignites
Down the street
It goes
The town falls silent
As it passes
He left
Without a word
He left
They found him in his closet
Alone
He hung himself
He left us all alone
Without a word
To anyone
He left
The cemetary calls
They lower him
Into the earth
Six feet under
The black coffin
It gleams in the sunlight
Everything seems so wrong
Down the hall
Down the street
Into the cemetary
Into the earth
He lies
Forever more
Never to say
I'm sorry
