Chapter 1 - saying good bye
well we've been best friends since the 3rd grade,
we always thought we'd go to the same schools until collage,
but it's only 8th grade and we have to say good bye today,
it just won't be the same without you to make me smile,
now i'll just be sad,
how could this happen? is what i keep thinking,
it's never easy to say good bye,
but i certaintly never thought that we'd have to say good bye like this,
well 7 years together sure has gone by fast,
they say that no matter the distance true friends stay friends to the end no matter what,
it sure doesn't feel that way now does it?
i only wish this were a bad dream,
but it's not my old friend,
so the time to say good bye is now i guess,
i'll always miss you,
good bye....
