Chapter 1 - Gnomes
With tiny, bare feet crunching through the leaves,
A little man wanders through enormous trees.
He carries supplies with his rough, worn hands,
So he can provide for his family and friends,
For gnomes, or little people, as some call them,
Are entrusted to care for animals and gardens.
Under a patched, red hat his wrinkled face,
Holds a warm smile, with the kindness of his race.
If people cared for the environment as much as a gnome,
The world would be a much better place to call home.
