Chapter 1 - The Waiting Days

Sonic in the hospital


Note: I don't own Sonic, Knuckles, Tails, or Amy, But I own Trent and Silver ( I still can't figure out a name for him )


[ Sonic and Amy walking down the sidewalk ]
Amy: Let's go home.
Sonic: Yeah. I'm tired.
[ A Silver Hedgehog pulls Amy into a alley ]
Amy: Sonic!
Sonic: Hang on, Amy!
[ Amy stuck in a corner ]
Amy: AAH!
[ Silver aiming a pistol at Amy ]
Sonic: No!
[ Sonic runs in front of Amy, taking the shot ]
Silver: Ha-Ha!
[ Silver runs away ]
Amy: Sonic! Sonic!
[ Sonic chest was covered with blood ]
Amy: Somebody help!
[ Paramedics pick up Sonic and take him to the hospital ]

The Hospital

[ Knuckles, Tails, Trent, and Amy in the waiting room ]
Amy: [ Sobbing ]
Trent: Sonic did a good thing for you.
Amy: I know but,- [ Cries ]
Tails: I just hope he'll be okay.
[ Doctor come out ]
Knuckles: Is our friend going to be okay?
Doctor: [ Sigh ] The bullet went through his chest and it hit his heart.
Tails: Is there anything you can do?
Doctor: We're doing the best we can. He's going to need a new heart and do surgery. The chance of him surviving is 35%.
Amy: No! [ Starts to cry again ]
Doctor: You can see him for 1 hour and then you have to leave.
Trent: Thanks, Doctor.
Doctor: He's in room 6.

Room 6

[ Sonic barely breathing ]
[ Knuckles, Tails, Trent, and Amy walk in ]
Amy: Sonic!
[ Amy runs to Sonic ]
Sonic: Hi, Amy.
[ Amy kisses Sonic ]
Amy: Are you feeling okay?
Sonic: Yeah. For now.
Trent: You had us worried sick.
Sonic: I got surgery on Monday and I might not survive.
Knuckles: We'll be here for you.
Trent: Too bad we stay the night.
Sonic: I can only have 1 person to stay the night.
Tails: Let Amy stay with him.
Trent: Yeah.
Knuckles: We gotta go. We'll come back tomorrow.
Sonic: Bye, guys.
[ Knuckles, Trent, and Tails leave ]
Amy: Good night, Sonic. You need to rest.
Sonic: Yeah. [ Yawns ]
[ Amy hugs then kisses him ]
[ Sonic drifts to sleep ]
Amy: Oh, I hope Sonic'll be okay. I don't know what I'll be without you.
[ Amy gets her Sonic plushie and hugs it ]
Amy: Oh, Sonic. Please be okay.
[ Amy falls to sleep ]

Sunday

[ Sonic wakes up ]
Amy: Good Morning, Sonic. You sleep well?
Sonic: Uh-huh.
Amy: Oh, Sonic.
[ Amy hugs him tightly ]
Sonic: What's wrong?
Amy: This maybe our last couple of days together.
[ Tears run from her eyes ]
Sonic: I know. It'll be okay.
[ Wipe off her tears ]
Amy: I just hope you do well in surgery tomorrow.
[ Knock on door ]
Amy: I'll get it.
[ Amy answers and sees Shadow ]
Shadow: Hi, Amy.
Amy: Hi, Shadow.
Shadow: Hey, Sonic. I heard about what happened to you. You okay?
Sonic: I don't know. I got surgery tomorrow.
[ Trent walks in ]
Trent: Knock-Knock.
Sonic: Hey, Trent. Where's Tails and Knuckles?
Trent: They couldn't come. They said they were busy.
Sonic: Oh.
[ Doctor walks in ]
Doctor: Excuse me? I need to talk to Sonic alone.
Amy: Okay.
[ Amy, Shadow, and Trent walk out ]

5 minutes later

Trent: What's wrong, Amy?
Amy: I known Sonic all my life and if he dies, a part of my heart will always be empty.
Shadow: Don't worry. I bet Sonic'll be fine.
Amy: I hope so.

That night

[ Amy watching Sonic ]
Amy: [ Sigh ]
[ Sonic already asleep ]
Amy: Sonic. You're going through the operation tomorrow morning.
[ Amy holds his hand ]
Amy: I hope you'll be okay.

Monday

The Waiting Room

Knuckles: Today's Sonic's Operation
Tails: Yeah.
Trent: We're all here for him. Right?
Shadow: Right.

Room 6

Sonic: Well, this is it.
Amy: I know.
[ 2 Doctor walk in and push Sonic toward the Operating Room ]
[ Amy runs with them ]
Sonic: Amy, I need to tell you something before I go in.
Amy: What is it?
Sonic: I... I love you, Amy.
[ Sonic goes in the Operating Room ]
Amy: [ Whispering ] I love you too, Sonic.
[ Trent sees Amy ]
Trent: Come on, Amy. We can't stay here.
Amy: Sonic.....
[ Sonic getting his operation ]

1 hour later

[ A doctor walks out of the Operating Room ]
Amy: Will Sonic be okay?
Doctor: The operation was sucessful, but like I said: The chance of him surviving was low.
Amy: Oh, no.
Doctor: But he'll be able to pull through.
Amy: Oh, thanks goodness!
Doctor: Right now he's asleep. He should be up by this afternoon.
Trent: Thanks for saving our friend.
Amy: Let's go to his room right now!
