Chapter 1 - A Careless End
In an instant beat,
My world lay in ashes.
Songs of sorrow,
Constant crashes.
Time of destruction,
Anguish and despair.
Lost souls in ruins,
No hopes of repair.
Emotional scars,
Haunting recollection.
Murderous greed,
Lovers’ deception.
Endless betrayal,
A raging sea.
Locked away hearts,
No such key.
Shattered dreams,
Hollow eyes.
Infinite rumors,
Of my demise.
Imposing pain,
Forgotten ardor.
Burning revulsion,
Open no door.
Violent streets,
Once of color.
Screaming bullets,
Drop another.
Reckless living,
A fallen nation.
Sustaining posture,
I’ve no devastation.
