Chapter 1 - 1

One moment

As I run in the shadowy woods,
I hear it chasing me.
Hunting me,
Needing my flesh and blood.

I begin to wonder, if I will live,
If I die I will not be remembered,
I start to run faster,
But...

Suddenly I trip over an old tree root,
My body falling into the cold dark mud.
I feel the prink on my neck,
As it drinks my blood.

I can feel my life starting to fade,
Fading away,
The moster asks me if I want to survive,
I manage to utter the words yes.

So it obliges and leaves me there,
I begin to feel the change,
My eyes turn red thirsty for human blood,
My teeth growing into sharp fangs,
I am a monster.

And I think,
My body now a corpse,
My mind now a killer,
And this all in one moment,
Your life can change in a moment,
One Momemt!
