I hate your eyes

I hate your eyes.

I hate the way the intense green

Drowns my mind, body, and soul

I hate how they manipulate my heart

To only live for you

I hate the way the wonder fills my being

When I gaze into their depths

I hate how they smile

With your soft and perfect lips

I hate the way they hypnotize my senses

Into a painful bliss

I hate the way they are my windows inside you

And everything you are, your very essence

I hate how they give me a terrifying understanding

Of all you fear, hope, love, and hate

Most of all, I hate the way they remind me that

I can never have you

I hate your eyes
