Chapter 1 - Waiting

It's sort of lonely here
sitting by this phone
tell me how would you feel
if you were all alone
in the deepest part of night
when your heart seems to moan

Looking to my left
I wait for the ring
just to hear your voice
and the happiness it can bring
so I wait, and I try
waisting time on this heavenly thing

It's been three years now
and I'm still on my own
I've waited this long
but I can feel in every bone
you won't call me back
no matter how much I groan

So you left me here
to sit and die
you won't just come back
even thoguh I try
you left me here
and now I cry

Would you call me
if I prayed hard enough
Would you call me
if I asked again and again
Would you call me
please tell me why
I'm sitting here alone tonight
