Chapter 1 - Gone

You're gone
You're never coming back
I miss you so
Why did you leave me alone in this wretched world?
What did I ever do to you?
I suppose you think I bit off more than I could chew
But, alas, I chewed it
Why did you go away?
You never committed a wrong
You never did anyone harm
So why did you have to leave?
You made everyone smile when you came through the door
And at the dinner table there was much friendly chatter
But not anymore
Now there is just silence...
And mashed potatoes
I miss you more than I would miss the sun
More the I would miss the stars
More than I would miss anything in the world
You always made my day
You were so warm to everyone
But now you're gone
Gone forever...



Never mind, there's more pizza in the fridge
