Do you know how it feels?



Do you know how it feels,

To lose someone you love?

When you pray that theyll hear you,

From somewhere up above?


Do you know how it feels,
To dream of another world?
A place of acceptance and peace,
And emotions unfurled?

Do you know how it feels
To cry yourself to sleep?
To stay strong during the day,
While late at night you weep?

Do you know how it feels,
To want one single friend?
When no one seems to hear you,
Or have an ear to lend?

Do you know how it feels,
When nothing seems right?
When this worlds so messed up,
That it fills you with fright?

Do you know how it feels,
When there is no light?
When everyones bitter
And wanting to fight?

Maybe you do,
And maybe you dont.
Maybe you will,
And maybe you wont.

So dont judge by appearance,
But by personality,
Try to open up your eyes,
And see what they see.
If everyone could feel,
A lonely persons pain,
Maybe thered be more friendship,
And no crying in the rain.

So think about what you do or say
To someone who needs a friend
Try to listen, to learn, to heal
The feelings you can mend
