Chapter 1 - Unique

If no one had any different names,
And no one had any high aims.

If no one rebelled against their kings,
and everyone did the same things.

If cruel laws were made none would object,
and everyone were “cool”, "normal", and "perfect".

If no one ever sang out loud,
or ever turned their back on the crowd.

If nobody ever danced alone,
and never had a chance to be well known.

I want to be a blazing star,
I would never want to be “regular”.

People may say I'm strange, weird, a freak,
but if they’d only looked deeper they’d see I'm only unique.

Don't judge people by their outward looks,
for when where all just stories, you'll be the closed book.
