Late Wednesday morning
School and adoration
I'm only halfway there
Not quite time for a rotation
I think and think of what to say**
But no thoughts come in my head.
Try to sit still upon this hill
Remember what I've said.
Almost left the last prayer
But I find I'm still stuck there
Until someone can fish me out
Cup of tea and mystery lady
Standing by the door.
Waiting for a sign to come in.
I stand up…she comes in
Now I can finally leave
I walk out…she walks in
I can hardly believe that I'm gone
Catch up to the ones long gone

Playing it by ear, no time to shed a tear
