Chapter 1 - Bewinged
Rain comes pouring down and with no calmness coming.
I sit under a tree with my wings chained down.
I am alone.
As time passes I see much happiness.
I wait for the time when I can enjoy that happiness.
But it seems I am forgotten.
Years pass, and I still wait for my opportunity to play once again.
The day comes and I am free from my darkness.
The chains gone, my soul filled with joy.
I am reborn.
It still rains, but with a since of light.
That light that has been hidden away from me for so long.
I was blind.
I am not anymore.
I thank that light, that warmth given to me.
So the rain might still be coming down with no calmness coming.
And I still sit under a tree with my wings free.
But I am happy, and I am not alone in my darkness.
