Chapter 1 - You're Not The Only One To Blame
DISCLAIMER: No matter how hard I fantasize, FullMetal Alchemist will never be mine.
YOU'RE NOT THE ONLY ONE TO BLAME
Every day I watch you
As you struggle with the pain
Why do you insist on carrying the burden alone?
I share as much of the blame
Even though you smile
I can tell by your eyes
That you're struggling
With the guilt on the inside
I had insisted on coming with you on your journey
I didn't want to be seperated from you again
Along the way, we've had our quarrels
But that's only natural for brothers.
Then you asked if I hated you
And I thought my world fell apart
You saved me
Gave me another chance in life
How could you ever think such a thing?
You should know you mean everything to me.
I would die for you without hesitating
I admit for awhile
That I've had my doubts
I wondered how you could keep your promise
What we were doing was still wrong
Still considered forbidden
Yet we continued to search
For that little ray of hope
That would lead us to our happiness
One day I know we will find it
We will be happy again
And this nightmare can finally end
