Chapter 1 - My Loss
Chapter 1 - My Loss
My heart is torn my mind is lost,
I risked my soul and paid the cost,
My mind is dark the world is bright,
My soul and body longs for light,
My blood is hot and burns my veins,
Im sick of playing wicked games.
Bitter hatred haunts my heart,
And twists and rips my life apart,
Stop me now, I've gone insane,
Confused and torn from all this pain.
I long to heal and feel new love,
An angel sent from heaven above.
I pay no heed to what is there,
Nor do I look, nor do I care.
Against my will I try to see,
What I know was meant to be,
And if I fall, I'll rise once more,
And always see that open door.
I have new strength to lift me high,
I've finally been given a chance to fly
