Chapter 1 - page 1
When at night,
I look above,
And stare into the sky.
I spread my wings,
My shadow moves,
My body begins to fly.
Wind so cold,
It breaks my bones,
Against it I will try.
The sun is dim,
Dark days,
Cold nights.
In the dark,
I am alone.
I see the lights.
So far away,
Hope is never near,
The futures is soon,
I will not give,
I must fight,
I watch the moon.
It's actions,
Chase my thoughts,
It sends me away.
I find warmth,
In myself,
I cannot stay.
I look above,
And stare into the sky.
