This a linked haiku. It was an assignment for my creative writing class. The theme was nature & so I wrote about angels battling over the clouds.
The dark angels are battling over the light angel's cloud.

Chapter 1 - Battle for the clouds

Battle for the clouds

Fiery wings flail
Scorning what is above
Black rocks, molten dreams

Golden shields up high
Accent the shimmering sky
White wings, dancing swords

Fire detests water
Death fearing the strength of light
Sharing vanity

An angel rises
Brave unyielding dark herald
Darkness will prevail

Feathers fall screaming
Sword and shield unite, clouds whine
Puffs of white merge red
