Chapter 1 - Hated

“Hated”

This is a poem I wrote when I was really down in the dumps.

I'm all alone again

Here by myself, just me

How can I deserve this?

Oh, how can this be?

Everyone hates me, I don't know why

I can't stand to feel like this!

I'm just gonna break down and cry.



There's no reason for anyone to hate me

Well, except for one thing

I'm so different from everyone

I never have really fit in

But that's no reason for hate!

Cause no one is the same

But I'm so different from everyone

To them it's not okay.



Why can't they just accept me

For who I am?

And why can't they see

This is just the way I am?

I'm not bad, I've never been mean

Kind and shy, you see

Quite the contrary



But no one knows the loneliness inside me

No one can see the pain within me

I guess that no one will ever understand me.



I just realized that this poem kinda describes Naruto. Cuz, ya know, he's so lonely and everyone hates him. Well, not everyone, but most people. Of course, I wrote this months before it ever aired…
