Everyday i am forced to look into those eyes
and see how bright they are
with only a glimpse from me
And everyday i silently cry
the lies i told you
are what make those eyes shine
i had said i loved you
i had said i would never leave
and now all i wish
is to escape your strangling hold
my eyes black out
my mind twirls in confusion
your all i want
but i want you to leave
we've left each other twice before
always coming back
I'm drawn to you
as curiosity draws the monkey to the lion
i know you will be my death
i know you will be my downfall
ill lose everything for you
all the while crying
as you hold me tight in your arms
i know what you want
i know what you need
and your not going to get it from me
i run away
only to come crawling back
and I'm tired of crawling
tired of crying
i just want you to leave
i don't want to see you
i don't want an offer
i don't need your sympathy as i fight my mind
i want you to leave
i want you to leave
i don't wish you to return
or to force me to beg
even as a friend
you cause so much confusion
and this is why i request
that you leave completely
without a single glance back
