Chapter 1 - Letters on a Beach
Letters on a Beach
Look, find the parchment hidden in the bag
Like letters in a bottle washed up here
I'll see what they say,
Look at them arrive
A wonder how they survived
Three hundred handwritten letters wash up
To say they want to be on his mind
They each pray for blessing, citing their reason
Three hundred letters were never answered
Crying out for forgiveness of sin
Underage course of action has consequences
From aborting the mission of motherhood
To abandoning hope of their other half
They each were meant for bestowing upon his heart and mind
And believe me, though they never reached mortal eyes till now
Something's happened between now and then
Rest assured, it will be done
