Chapter 1 - Anti-Hypervoluptuosity
Anti-Hypervoluptuosity
Rolling down the road when it hits
That one little sight that catches everyone's eye
Oh yes, I'm talking about her
Decked out in almost nothing
Seems like she's balancing her weight
And her credit cards
They abuse them,
Then give them awards
Stop selling their image
You can't just dress them up
They're not dolls to play with
Though you seem to play 'em off,
pretty well
But I'm telling you
To stop spreading this cookie-cutter image
They're hurt,
I've seen it
Can you spell anorexia?
All for the sake of being accepted
All for the sake of making it on the front page
Of your hip magazines?
On your tv screens?
Can you hear me?
I'm telling you to stop the madness
Rolling down the road when it hits
That one little sight that catches everyone's eye
Oh yes, I'm talking about her
Decked out in almost nothing
Seems like she's balancing her weight
And her credit cards
They abuse them,
Then give them awards
Stop selling their image
You can't just dress them up
They're not dolls to play with
Though you seem to play 'em off,
pretty well
But I'm telling you
To stop spreading this cookie-cutter image
They're hurt,
I've seen it
Can you spell anorexia?
All for the sake of being accepted
All for the sake of making it on the front page
Of your hip magazines?
On your tv screens?
Can you hear me?
I'm telling you to stop the madness
