I sit here to
contemplate my mess.
I just gotta get this
Off my chest.
I fell for you
long time ago,
But I thought it best
that you shouldn't know.
My wish be
In time passing
we wait and see what's in store.
I never thought much
on the bugs that spurred nervosity.
You caused them
but I chose to ignore,
and now this is hard.
I guess my distractions
were enough
to keep you from worrying.
I don't want to scare you,
Initiate your instinctive
avoidance of those who share my thought.
It's grown as this wore on.
I've decided to say
no more running away.
