Chapter 1 - Breakthrough Burden
Breakthrough Burden
As I look to the skies
My eyes bring into focus
A world stained with hate
A world mixed with love
As those who's eyes look upon the world
They focus only on half the equation
From some comes the remark
The world is tattered, the world is lost
Others bear thoughts of lighter decree
What we see in society, is changeable
Come, let us mold this ourselves
Let us begin a new era
Slowly, we have slipped
Deeper and farther
We were led astray by one and by all
To get back on track is our new burden
One will start, many soon follow
Such is the way we work
On this bright new day
Let us begin phase one
Let us begin anew
We will orchestrate by peaceful means
Ignoring those who ignore grace
Bringing light to those who are willing
We will be the new generation
We can change this blackened place
Of us is all who will bring an end
And those same few will start a new beginning
As I look to the skies
My eyes bring into focus
A world stained with hate
A world mixed with love
As those who's eyes look upon the world
They focus only on half the equation
From some comes the remark
The world is tattered, the world is lost
Others bear thoughts of lighter decree
What we see in society, is changeable
Come, let us mold this ourselves
Let us begin a new era
Slowly, we have slipped
Deeper and farther
We were led astray by one and by all
To get back on track is our new burden
One will start, many soon follow
Such is the way we work
On this bright new day
Let us begin phase one
Let us begin anew
We will orchestrate by peaceful means
Ignoring those who ignore grace
Bringing light to those who are willing
We will be the new generation
We can change this blackened place
Of us is all who will bring an end
And those same few will start a new beginning
