Dear Geoffry

This sudden heart torn in pieces
It's like a nightmare, but true
Can't be solved by denial, have to face the truth

I can't believe this is really happening
I can't believe I'm here and you're not
I can't say we were close knit
But it was enough to leave a gash

Dear Geoffrey, I wish you were here
You beat us all there
Dear Geoffrey, hey, it hurts
Why'd you have to go like this?

But take step outside perspective
I can't imagine what he feels
What do I say, how can I say it?
Pray he gets through this well

You poor young soul,
I can't imagine it now
You lost him to the pavement
I see nothing in your once life-filled eyes
His absent-guided presence is hard to comprehend
I can't stand it either....


We all hurt deep inside now,
But let's think lighter
He's there, you know?
He's definitely smiling
Wishing us luck and bidding us move on

Hey, let's put a smile on, here
Grief's natural, I know
But he'd want to be remembered by a happy heart
So don't cut your self too deep
Let's leave him a celebration
A remembrance we shan't forget
