Chapter 1 - The Organ Grinder
The Organ Grinder
Little tunes sing so sweet
To the pitter-patter of little feet
A song so innocent,
A song so proud
But in my mind, it grows too loud
You lay awake each night, and cry
You dream of fowl who cannot fly
They're stuck to the earth, perhaps by curse
You can't help but reach into your purse
You can't help yourself in the slightest bit
Like by some great force, you've been hit
Hypnotized and dazed I find her
Near the old, hypnotic organ grinder
Little tunes sing so sweet
To the pitter-patter of little feet
A song so innocent,
A song so proud
But in my mind, it grows too loud
You lay awake each night, and cry
You dream of fowl who cannot fly
They're stuck to the earth, perhaps by curse
You can't help but reach into your purse
You can't help yourself in the slightest bit
Like by some great force, you've been hit
Hypnotized and dazed I find her
Near the old, hypnotic organ grinder
