Chapter 2 - "For You"
"For You"
Your love and laughter,
I am after.
Your heart and breath,
I sense death.
Put down,
Thrown to the ground.
Blood I taste,
Hate I face.
Great and deeply,
Your soul is lovely.
Beautiful and pleasant,
Is your presence.
Tries and lies,
I hear their cries.
Do you now know,
That I will not go.
I protect you,
Just as they would do.
Please believe in me,
For they deceive me.
Look to the sky,
I will not die.
And that I pray,
I will stay.
For you I will.
Strength to kill.
That I will sell my soul,
If that’s my role.
I walk this path,
I feel their wrath.
They will see,
I believe.
