Submitted August 4, 2007 Updated August 4, 2007 Status Complete | My last poem, it is here. I tried writing a book over the summer, but when I finished...it seemed so fake. I tried to make it from the heart, but the story just wasn't me. This was what I meant when I wrote this poem.

Chapter 1 - Please Don't
Please don’t hate me for what I do.
Please don’t say, “I‘m over you.”
Please don’t make me cry in my sleep.
Please I don’t want to cause you grief.
Hold my hand.
You will understand.
Do not let go.
How do you know?
See that star?
It may be far.
Look in to my eyes.
Don’t tell me lies.
It was so fake.
I hid myself.
Now I see.
Please don’t leave.
Please don’t hate me for what I do.
Please don’t say, “I‘m over you.”
Please don’t make me cry in my sleep.
