Chapter 1 - "My Dear"

I have nothing to say to you,

Except I'm done trying.

I stood there beside you,

But I don't need your lying.



You hid yourself from me,

And pointed at the door.

Now, I'm picking myself up,

Up off the floor.



You don't want my presence,

You've shown that before.

But I don't want to leave,

Just evening the score.



But you're hateful.

And it's fading me.

This was your plan.

So, I can't help but leave.



Now, that I'm disappearing;

I'm what you need.

I'm not coming back;

Are you done being angry?



You said, "I'll be glad when you gone."

And it wasn't true.

You just wouldn't open up.

What was I to do?



I was sick of your words.

And tired of your hate.

You emotions are so strong,

You controlled my fate.



You didn't know,

Nor understand.

You're my one and only.

My life, my friend.



So, I will watch you from afar.

Because I'm still around.

I hope you know that now.

My dear, I loved you so.
