Chapter 1 - Mistaken
Mistaken
.
Only something so cold can be felt,
But if it is too cold,
One may mistake it for hot.
As it burns all the same.
.
The sun can shine into your eyes
So perfect is a strait line,
That you may mistake it for darkness,
As it causes the splotches on the inside of your eyelids.
.
You look so happy,
But your tears may not be those of joy,
You look so happy yet your weeping may be from the soul
Are you happy?
You could very well be sad.
.
Different things might as well be the same.
.
Hot and cold
Light and dark
Happy and sad.
.
Only something so cold can be felt,
But if it is too cold,
One may mistake it for hot.
As it burns all the same.
.
The sun can shine into your eyes
So perfect is a strait line,
That you may mistake it for darkness,
As it causes the splotches on the inside of your eyelids.
.
You look so happy,
But your tears may not be those of joy,
You look so happy yet your weeping may be from the soul
Are you happy?
You could very well be sad.
.
Different things might as well be the same.
.
Hot and cold
Light and dark
Happy and sad.
