Prologue
It was a dark and chill night, the wind howled through the city, though no one was awake to hear it.
No one? Not quite. A silhouette appeared, cloaked in the night's darkness and a heavy coat…
Walking purposely with their head bowed down by the wind, the figure paused and, drawn from an inner pocket, placed two letters in the Kinomiya mailbox.
As the figure faded back into the night, the expected rain began to fall and a flash of lightning briefly light another figure, standing perched on the Kinomiya's fence… The Gale whipped stronger, blowing away many loose objects, but when the next lighting flash came seconds later, the figure was gone.
