Chapter 1 - My Realm

If you look carefully,

Above the leaping waters,

Above the towering tree,

You'll see me sitting gracefully,

Leaning on my knee,

Wishing I'd been younger,

When I was fifty-three.

And those with will that's stronger,

Would look up at me and say,

“Why do you linger here,

Ruining most every day?”

And I would laugh and jeer,

“I mean no harm to thee,

Nor any of thine realm.

Now you just run along.

For all the realms I know of,

Only here I belong.”
