Chapter 1 - What a ride
Chapter 1 - What a ride
When I look in the mirror
I’ve seen how much I have grown
From a silly child
To a adult
What a ride that has been
From sports
To the grunge look
To the stand out in the crowd
I have finally found who I am
I am me
There isn’t going to be a other
As watch myself grow
I become proud
I live my life to as best as I can
I am independent
And most of the time stubborn
I’ve been through my relationships
They make me laugh so much
So when I look in the mirror
I remind myself
I have came this far
Thanks to my friends
From a silly child
Obsessed with the mighty ducks
Both cartoon and movie
Which inspired me to love hockey
So before I put on the eyeliner
Foundation
And mascara
To step out in my life were I left it off yesterday
I smile
For I have made it the best I did
Along with my friends

This is a very personal-sounding poem. Like you put a lot of real-life examples in. I like the way it sounds. Good job. =)
