Submitted June 10, 2005 Updated June 10, 2005 Status Incomplete | This is just a poem I wrote a while ago. It is about myself. I have changed alot lately and have become distant and weak and I dont really like this new me so I wrote this dumb poem about it. (kinda gothic i guess)

Chapter 1 - Turned Away
Turned away
There was always a girl inside me
a younger me
a happier me
She wrote down all the good things
and knew everything's okay
I didn't agree so I turned away
She knew what was right
I didn't listen to what she'd say
I covered my ears and turned away
She showed me flowers with their beautiful colors
But I can only see in gray
and so I turned away
She organized everything in a little pink book
and handed it to me each day
I dropped it and as the pages scattered I only turned away
A friend waited out side for me
she whistled and waved
I was no longer the person she wanted
so I closed the curtains and turned away
