Wounds
The rain falls down
Lacing through the night
Crimson in comparison
The wind takes flight
Wings of leather
Torn with its sorrow
Rivulets of memories
Tainted in its marrow
Deep within
No light can reach
A past torn asunder
Bleak lessons to teach
Of the dark blood
From ancestors past
A betrayal so great
Centuries it did last
Now comes the day
When paths shall cross
Species will blind
And the past will be lost
They take to the skies
As the dark mends
Blood will be shed
For this is the end
