Chapter 1 - All My Love
Miles from sleep,
Sailing on a stormy sea of my emotions,
Looking for a distant shore,
Somewhere there'll be no more sad memories.
Remembering a game,
Where I bet all I own for a life,
Staked my lonely soul,
For a chance to be told that you'd stay.
I wasted all my love on you,
Cried a lifetime's tears for you,
Wore my heart out wanting you,
Yeah, I wasted all my love on you.
You weren't the kind,
Who makes a promise for all times and stays true,
You went like the rain,
I won't cross the same ground again.
I need something new,
I'm left looking at the past.
Tired of thinking that's the last time I'll try,
Save my breath for a final sigh,
And a year wondering why...
I could be so wrong.
