Chapter 1 - Wasted All My Love On You
Miles from sleep,
Sailing on a stormy sea of my emotions,
Looking for a distant shore,
Somwhere there'll be no more sad memories.
Remembering a game,
Where I bet all I own for a life,
Staked my lonely soul,
For a chance to be told that you'd stay.
I wasted all my love on you,
Cried a lifetime's tears for you,
I wasted all my love on you.
Guess you weren't that kind,
To make a promise for all time and stay true.
You went like the rain,
I won't be foolish enough to cross the same ground again.
I need something new,
But I'm lef looking at the past.
I'm tired of thinking "That's the last time I'll try."
I'll save my breath for a final sight,
And wonder why,
Why I could be so wrong.
