Chapter 1 - immortal
shining down upon my face
i see but one existence
a mere reflection of my past
and for one lonely instance
i look upon your smiling face
and clear as day eyes
and realise the past is gone
and i am left to rise.
back to my feet i must prevail
and go back on my sorrowful trail
until i can one day become
immortal as the sun
